Laziness Brings Miseries
Rayhan is an HSC examinee. He is not attentive to his lessons specially to English because he is very weak in English. Moreover, he is lazy. So his preparation in English is not good. A month ago before his examination he managed a suggestion.
There were only a few questions. The examination was knocking at the door. Rayhan had a little time to take a good preparation for the exam. So, he started cramming the questions found in the suggestion. At last, the appointed day for the exam came. Rayhan entered the exam hall with trembling heart. The examination began. Rayhan got his question paper at hand. Most of the questions were unknown to him and he could not answer them.
He felt quite nervous and his hand was trembling. Even he failed to answer the questions properly which he had learnt well. The bell rang. Rayhan had many questions yet to answer. He left the hall with frustration. After a few months, the result was published. Most of his friends had made good results. But Rayhan found his roll number in the list of 'F' grade. He was worried. Then he swore that he would never neglect his studies in future. He would be attentive and regular in his studies.

আলস্য দুঃখ আনে
রায়হান একজন এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার্থী। সে তার পাঠে মনোযোগী নয় বিশেষত ইংরেজিতে কারণ সে ইংরেজিতে খুব দুর্বল। তাছাড়া সে খুব অলস। তাই ইংরেজিতে তার প্রস্তুতি খুব একটা ভালো নয়। পরীক্ষার এক মাস আগে সে একটি সাজেশন যোগাড় করে।
তাতে কয়েকটি মাত্র প্রশ্ন ছিল। পরীক্ষা প্রায় আসন্ন/দ্বার প্রান্তে। পরীক্ষার জন্য ভালো প্রস্তুতি নিতে রায়হানের হাতে খুব কম সময় ছিল। তাই সে সাজেশনে পাওয়া প্রশ্ন মুখস্থ করা শুরু করল। অবশেষে, পরীক্ষার জন্য নির্ধারিত দিন আসল। রায়হান ভীত সন্ত্রস্তচিত্তে পরীক্ষার হলে ঢুকল। পরীক্ষা শুরু হল। রায়হান তার প্রশ্নপত্র হাতে পেল। অধিকাংশ প্রশ্ন তার অপরিচিত মনে হল এবং প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিতে পারছিল না।
সে বিচলিতবোধ করল এবং তার হাত কাঁপছিল। এমনকি সে যেগুলো ভালো করে শিখেছিল সেগুলোর উত্তরও ভালোভাবে দিতে ব্যর্থ হল। ঘণ্টা বাজল। রায়হানের তখনও অনেক প্রশ্নের উত্তর লেখা বাকি ছিল। সে হতাশার সঙ্গে হল ত্যাগ করল। কয়েক মাস পর ফলাফল প্রকাশিত হল। অধিকাংশ বন্ধু-বান্ধব ভালো ফলাফল করেছিল। কিন্তু রায়হান তার রোল নং ‘F’ তালিকায় পেল। সে উদ্বিগ্ন ছিল। তারপর সে শপথ করল যে সে ভবিষ্যতে আর কখনো পড়াশোনায় অবহেলা করবে না। সে তার পড়াশোনায় মনোযোগী ও নিয়মানুবর্তী হবে।
