My First Day at College
The first day of my college life is one of the few evergreen memories of my life. I got admitted to Faujdarhat Cadet College, Chittagong and was waiting for attending classes with excitement. I was thrilled with joy at 9 am on July 20, 2013 because this was the time I entered the college campus. It is a famous college. I attended five classes that day. The first class was on English taken by a female teacher who had a very strong personality. She was very friendly. Previously, I was anxious about the behaviour of the teachers and after attending her class, all my fears had gone. Then we attended Bangla, Physics, Chemistry and Biology classes. Other teachers were also very friendly. As all of us were new-comers there, we talked to each other and became friends within a short time. All of us visited the library, the laboratory, the auditorium. They were very much resourceful. The library was full of famous books. There were newspapers, magazines for students. The laboratory was also well-equipped. The auditorium was very attractive to look at. Then we came the students' common room. It was a huge room with various items of indoor games. It was a great experience. I will cherish the memory of this day for ever.
কলেজে আমার প্রথম দিন
কলেজে প্রথম দিনের স্মৃতি আমার জীবনের চিরস্মরণীয় স্মৃতিগুলোর একটি। আমি চট্টগ্রামের ফৌজদারহাট ক্যাডেট কলেজে ভর্তি হয়েছিলাম এবং উত্তেজনার সাথে উদ্বোধনী ক্লাসের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছিলাম। ২০১৩ সালের ২০ শে জুলাই সকাল ৯ টায় আমি খুবই রোমাঞ্চিত ছিলাম কারণ এ সময়ে আমি কলেজ ক্যাম্পাসে প্রবেশ করি। এটি একটি বিখ্যাত কলেজ। আমি ঐদিন পাঁচটি ক্লাসে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলাম। প্রথম ক্লাসটি ছিল ইংরেজি যেটি নিয়েছিলেন দৃঢ় ব্যক্তিত্ব সম্পন্ন একজন মহিলা শিক্ষক। তিনি খুবই বন্ধুসুলভ ছিলেন। পূর্বে আমি শিক্ষকদের ব্যবহার নিয়ে চিন্তিত ছিলাম কিন্তু তার ক্লাস করার পরে আমার সব চিন্তা দূর হয়ে যায়। অত:পর আমি বাংলা, পদার্থ, রসায়ন এবং জীববিজ্ঞান ক্লাস করি। অন্যান্য শিক্ষকরাও খুবই বন্ধুসুলভ ছিলেন। যেহেতু আমরা সবাই কলেজে নবীন ছিলাম এবং আমরা একে অপরের সাথে কথা বললাম এবং অল্প সময়ের মধ্যে আমরা বন্ধু হলাম। আমরা সবাই গ্রন্থাগার, গবেষণাগার, মিলনায়তন ঘুরে দেখলাম। এগুলো বেশ সমৃদ্ধ ছিল। গ্রন্থাগারটি বিখ্যাত বইয়ে পূর্ণ ছিল। ছাত্রদের জন্য সেখানে পত্রিকা ও ম্যাগাজিন ছিল। গবেষণাগারটি ভালো যন্ত্রপাতিতে সুসজ্জিত ছিল। মিলনায়তনটি দেখতে খুবই আকর্ষণীয় ছিল। তারপর আমরা শিক্ষার্থীদের কমনরুমে এলাম। এটি খেলাধুলার বিভিন্ন জিনিস দ্বারা সজ্জিত একটি বড় কক্ষ। এটি ছিল একটি বড় অভিজ্ঞতা। আমি চিরদিন এই দিনের স্মৃতি মনে ধারণ করব।
