Global Warming
Global warning is one of the most talked topics of the present world. There are many reasons of global warming around the world and it has disastrous effects on us. Greenhouse effect is the main cause of global warming. The rise in the atmospheric temperature is known as greenhouse effect. Our atmosphere is guarded by an ozone layer which resists the entrance of ultra-violet rays from the sun. But deforestation around us and the increased amount of carbon dioxide, methane and chloro fluoro carbons affect that layer. The heat of the sun enters directly into the atmosphere of the earth. Scientists are worried about this increased heat because it is melting the ice in the polar-regions. If this process continues for a long time, the layer of water in the oceans will rise and flood coastal areas and farm lands of Bangladesh. Besides, this will reduce mankind's ability to grow food, destroy or severely damage wild life and wilderness. So, greenhouse effect is the main cause of global warming along with deforestation and rise of CFC gas. So, in order to solve this problem we have to prevent or reduce the amount of emission of greenhouse gases. We should give it the highest importance to save the world.
বৈশ্বিক উষ্ণতা
বৈশ্বিক উষ্ণতা বর্তমান বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে বেশি আলোচিত বিষয়গুলোর একটি। সারাবিশ্বে বৈশ্বিক উষ্ণতার অনেক কারণ রয়েছে এবং আমাদের উপর এর সর্বনাশা ফলাফল রয়েছে। গ্রীনহাউজ প্রভাব বৈশ্বিক উষ্ণতার প্রধান কারণ। বায়ুমণ্ডল সংক্রান্ত তাপমাত্রার বৃদ্ধিই গ্রীনহাউজ প্রভাব নামে পরিচিত। আমাদের বায়ুমণ্ডল ওজোনস্তর দ্বারা সুরক্ষিত যা সূর্যের আল্ট্রা ভায়োলেট রশ্মির প্রবেশে প্রতিরোধ করে। কিন্তু আমাদের চারপাশের বৃক্ষনিধন এবং কার্বন ডাইঅক্সাইড, মিথেন এবং ক্লোরো-ফ্লোরো কার্বনের বৃদ্ধি সেই স্তরকে প্রভাবিত করে। সূর্যের তাপ পৃথিবীর বায়ুমণ্ডলে সরাসরি প্রবেশ করে। বিজ্ঞানীরা এই তাপ বৃদ্ধির কারণে উদ্বিগ্ন কারণ এটি মেরু অঞ্চলের বরফকে গলিয়ে ফেলছে। যদি এই প্রক্রিয়া বহুদিন চলতে থাকে তাহলে সাগরের পানির স্তর বৃদ্ধি পাবে এবং বাংলাদেশের উপকূলবর্তী এলাকা ও কৃষি জমি প্লাবিত হবে। তাছাড়া এটি মানুষের খাদ্যশস্য উৎপাদনের ক্ষমতাকে হ্রাস করবে, বন্য জীবের মারাত্বক ধ্বংস ও ক্ষতি করবে। সুতরাং গ্রীনহাউজ প্রভাব বৃক্ষনিধন ও সিএফসি গ্যাসের বৃদ্ধির সাথে সাথে বৈশ্বিক উষ্ণতার প্রধান কারণ। সুতরাং এই সমস্যা সমাধান কল্পে আমাদের গ্রীনহাউজ গ্যাস নির্গমন প্রতিরোধ করতে বা কমাতে হবে। পৃথিবীকে রক্ষার জন্য আমাদের উচিত এটিকে সর্বোচ্চ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া।
