Female Education
Female education is very essential for the overall development of a nation. More or less, half of the population of a country is female. Leaving the female uneducated and unemployed, no nation can prosper. In our country about 7 crore people are women out of 14 crore in total. But, most of the women are lagging far behind in education. The rate of female literacy is about 20%. This rate of female literacy is alarming because without their education, our satisfactory development is impossible. Women need to be educated for different reasons. To be a conscious citizen of the country, to be an active member of the family and society, to be a good mother or wife and to lead a self-reliant better life, a woman should be educated properly. Besides, educated women have higher income potential than those who have had no schooling. An educated woman is conscious of her duties, rights and responsibilities. So, we should take every necessary step to ensure an environment to educate our female force. Parents ought to be encouraged to send their daughters to school. The Govt. and NGOs should patronize the education for girls in order that they can be educated and can play a vital role in the development of our country.
নারী শিক্ষা
একটি জাতির সার্বিক উন্নয়নের জন্য নারী শিক্ষা খুবই প্রয়োজন। কিছু কম বা বেশি দেশের প্রায় অর্ধেক জনসংখ্যাই হচ্ছে নারী। নারীদেরকে অশিক্ষিত ও বেকার রেখে কোন জাতি উন্নতি লাভ করতে পারে না। আমাদের দেশের ১৪ কোটি লোকের মধ্যে প্রায় ৭ কোটি লোক হচ্ছে নারী। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ নারী শিক্ষা থেকে অনেক দূরে রয়েছে। নারী সাক্ষরতার হার প্রায় শতকরা বিশভাগ। নারীদের এই সাক্ষরতার হার ভীতিকর কারণ তাদের শিক্ষা ছাড়া আমাদের সন্তোষজনক উন্নয়ন অসম্ভব। বিভিন্ন কারণে নারীদের শিক্ষিত হওয়া প্রয়োজন। দেশের একজন সচেতন নাগরিক হতে হলে, পরিবার এবং সমাজের একজন সক্রিয় কর্মী হতে হলে, একজন ভাল মা বা স্ত্রী হতে হলে এবং আত্মনির্ভরশীল ভাল জীবন যাপন করতে চাইলে একজন নারীকে সঠিকভাবে শিক্ষিত হতে হবে। তাছাড়া অশিক্ষিত নারীদের তুলনায় শিক্ষিত নারীদের উচ্চ আয়ের ক্ষমতা থাকে। একজন শিক্ষিত নারী তার কর্তব্য, অধিকার ও দায়িত্ব সম্পর্কে সচেতন থাকে। তাই নারীদেরকে শিক্ষিত করার পরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করার জন্য আমাদের সবচেয়ে প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা উচিত। পিতামাতাদেরকে তাদের কন্যা সন্তানদের বিদ্যালয়ে পাঠানোর জন্য উৎসাহিত করতে হবে। নারীদের শিক্ষার জন্য সরকার ও এনজিও গুলোকে পৃষ্ঠপোষকতা করা উচিত যাতে তারা শিক্ষিত হতে পারে এবং আমাদের দেশের উন্নয়নে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করতে পারে।
