E-learning
E-learning or electronic learning refers to using electronic applications and processes to learn. E-learning applications and processes include Web-based learning, computer-based learning, virtual classrooms and digital collaboration. Content is delivered via the internet, intranet/extranet, audio or video tape, satellite TV, and CD-ROM. E-learning was first called "Internet-based training then "Web-Based Training". Today we will still find these terms being used. E-learning can be CD-ROM-based, network-based, intranet-based or internet-based. It can include text, video, audio, animation and virtual environments. It can be a very rich learning experience that can even surpass the level of training we might experience in a crowded classroom. It's self-paced, hands-on learning. The quality of the electronic-based training, as in every form of training, is in its content and its delivery. E-learning can suffer from many of the same pitfalls as classroom training, such as boring slides, monotonous speech, and little opportunity for interaction. The beauty of e-learning, however, is that new software allows the creation of very effective learning environments that can engulf us in the material. We'll use software from Trainersoft as an example to show us how the process works. E-learning is such a process through which we can learn many things staying at home. So we should receive the blessings of this method.

ই-লার্নিং অথবা ইলেকট্রনিক লার্নিং বলতে শিক্ষা অর্জনের উদ্দেশ্যে ইলেকট্রনিক অ্যাপিÐকেশনস ও প্রসেস সমূহের ব্যবহারকে বোঝায়। ই-লার্নিং অ্যাপিÐকেশনস্ ও প্রসেসসমূহ ওয়েব-ভিত্তিক শিক্ষা, কম্পিউটার-ভিত্তিক শিক্ষা, ভার্চুয়াল শ্রেণীকক্ষসমূহ ও ডিজিটাল সহযোগিতায় শিক্ষাসমূহকে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করে। শিক্ষার বিষয়বস্তু ইন্টারনেট, ইনট্রানেট/ এক্সট্রানেট, অডিও অথবা ভিডিও টেপ, স্যাটেলাইট টিভি এবং CD-ROM এর সাহায্যে বিস্তৃত। ই-লার্নিংকে প্রথমে “ইন্টারনেট ভিত্তিক অনুশীলন” ও পরে “ওয়েব-ভিত্তিক অনুশীলন” বলা হতো। আজও আমরা এই সমস্ত ব্যবহৃত টার্মের খোঁজ করে থাকি। ই-লার্নিং CD-ROM-ভিত্তিক, নেটওয়ার্ক-ভিত্তিক, ইনট্রানেট-ভিত্তিক অথবা ইন্টারনেট-ভিত্তিক হতে পারে। এটা টেক্সট, ভিডিও, অডিও, অ্যানিমেশন এবং ভার্চুয়াল পরিবেশসমূহকে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করে। এটা হতে পারে অনেক উন্নত মানের শিক্ষণ অভিজ্ঞতা যা আমাদের জনবহুল শ্রেণীকক্ষসমূহের প্রশিক্ষণ অভিজ্ঞতার পর্যায়কে অতিক্রম করতে পারে। এর আছে নিজস্ব-গতিময়তা, হাতের মুঠোয় শিক্ষা। ইলেকট্রনিক-ভিত্তিক প্রশিক্ষণের মান যেন সমস্ত প্রশিক্ষণের গঠন ও বিষয়বস্তুর মানকে তুলে ধরে। ই-লার্নিং শ্রেণীকক্ষে প্রশিক্ষণের মত একই বিভ্রান্তিতে আক্রান্ত হতে পারে, তার মধ্যে বিরক্তিকর স্লাডসমূহ, একঘেয়েমিপূর্ণ বক্তৃতা এবং সামান্য মিথস্ক্রিয়ার সুযোগ অন্যতম। যা হোক ই-লার্নিং এর সৌন্দর্য হচ্ছে নতুন নতুন সফটওয়্যার যা আমাদেরকে খুবই কার্যকর শিক্ষণ পরিবেশের সৃষ্টির প্রতি উদ্বুদ্ধ করে যা আমাদেরকে শিক্ষার সমস্ত উপাদান মিশ্রিত করে পূর্ণতা দেয়। এই প্রক্রিয়াটি কিভাবে কাজ করে তা আমরা যাচাই করার জন্য কোনো পরীক্ষিত সফটওয়্যার ব্যবহার করে দেখবো। ই-লার্নিং এমন একটি পদ্ধতি যার মাধ্যমে আমরা ঘরে বসে অনেক কিছু শিখতে পারি। তাই আমাদের এই পদ্ধতির আশীর্বাদ গ্রহণ করা উচিত।
