Digital Bangladesh
'Digital Bangladesh' means digitalizing Bangladesh by ensuring an ICT based society where information will be available on line and where all possible tasks of the government and other non-government or semi-government will be performed using digital technology. The benefits of Digital Bangladesh are many. If we can establish a digital Bangladesh, corruption will be absolutely eradicated. It will save people's time and money and will make people more enterprising. It will connect people with the whole world economically, politically, socially, academically and even culturally. It will modernize banking and financial activities. Agriculture, health, education, commerce all these sectors will be highly benefited by making Bangladesh a digital one. The government has to take certain initiatives for implementing this dream. First of all, uninterrupted power supply has to be ensured. We have to develop computer network infrastructures throughout the country. We also have to train our people to acquire ICT skill and ensure equitable access to digital governance services by all strata of the society. It will be no exaggeration if we say that the implementation of a digital Bangladesh can help our country make progress in all sectors by leaps and bounds. It is hoped that Bangladesh will be fully digitalised by 2041.
ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ
ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ এর অর্থ আইসিটি ভিত্তিক সমাজ নিশ্চিত করার মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশকে ডিজিটালাইজ করা, যেখানে অন-লাইনে তথ্যাদি পাওয়া যাবে এবং যেখানে ডিজিটাল প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করে সরকারী এবং অন্যান্য বেসরকারী বা আধা সরকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান সমূহের সকল কাজ সম্পন্ন করা হবে। ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশের উপকারিতা অনেক। যদি আমরা ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে পারি তাহলে দুর্নীতি সম্পূর্ণরূপে দূরীভূত হবে। এটা মানুষের সময় এবং অর্থ রক্ষা করবে এবং মানুষকে আরও উদ্যমী করবে। এটা জনগনকে সারা বিশ্বের সঙ্গে অর্থনৈতিক, রাজনৈতিক, সামাজিক, নীতিগত এবং এমনকি সাংস্কৃতিকভাবে সংযুক্ত করবে। এটা ব্যাংকিং ও অর্থনৈতিক কার্যাবলীকে আধুনিকায়ন করবে। বাংলাদেশকে ডিজিটাল করার মাধ্যমে কৃষি, স্বাস্থ্য, শিক্ষা, বাণিজ্য- এসব শাখাগুলো খুবই উপকৃত হবে। এ স্বপ্নকে বাস্তবায়ন করতে সরকারকে কিছু ভূমিকা রাখতে হবে। প্রথমত অবিঘ্নিত বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। দেশব্যাপী কম্পিউটার নেটওয়ার্কের অবকাঠামোর উন্নয়ন করতে হবে। আমাদের জনগনকে আইসিটি দক্ষতা অর্জনে প্রশিক্ষণ দিতে হবে এবং সমাজের সকল স্তরে ডিজিটাল শাসন সেবা পৌঁছানোর নিরপেক্ষ প্রবেশাধিকার নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। এটা বললে অত্যুক্তি হবে না যে ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ বাস্তবায়ন আমাদের দেশকে সকল শাখায় দ্রুত গতিতে উন্নতি করতে সাহায্য করবে। আশা করা যায় যে ২০৪১ সাল নাগাদ বাংলাদেশ সম্পূর্ণরূপে ডিজিটাল হবে।
