A Picnic I Enjoyed
Last winter I went on a picnic which was full of enjoyment. We went to the National Park. Some of my classmates arranged the picnic. We were fifteen in number. We hired a microbus earlier. Within half an hour we got out of the city. We were all singing inside the micro. At last at about 10 am, we reached the grand spot. After reaching we finished our breakfast. We did not take any cook with us. Two of our classmates Rana and Kamal took the charge of cooking. Sohel and I dug a small hole to make a temporary cooker. We all started helping Rana and Kamal. Some of our friends fetched water from nearby sources. Others helped to prepare onion, garlic and other spices. At about half past 1 pm, the dish was ready. Everyone felt quite hungry. So, I started serving the prepared food. There were polao, roast, beef, salad etc. We finished our feast and retired to rest for about half an hour. One of our friends recited a great poem of Jibanananda Das. Ripon presented a joke on a voracious eater. Sumon who is a good singer presented two songs of Nazrul. We started for home at 5 pm after taking our tea. We enjoyed the picnic most and it is really a memorable day for me.
একটি বনভোজন যা আমি উপভোগ করেছিলাম
গত শীতে আমি বনভোজনে গিয়েছিলাম যা ছিল আনন্দে ভরা। আমরা জাতীয় উদ্যানে গিয়েছিলাম। আমার কিছু সহপাঠী বনভোজনের ব্যবস্থা করেছিল। আমরা সংখ্যায় পনেরো জন ছিলাম। আমরা আগেই একটি মাইক্রোবাস ভাড়া করেছিলাম। আধা ঘণ্টার মধ্যেই আমরা নগর পেরিয়ে গেলাম। আমরা সবাই মাইক্রোবাসের মধ্যে গান গাচ্ছিলাম। অবশেষে আমরা সকাল ১০ টায় গন্তব্যে পৌঁছালাম। পৌঁছে আমরা সকালের নাস্তা শেষ করলাম। আমরা সাথে কোনো বাবুর্চি নেইনি। রানা ও কামাল নামে আমাদের দুইজন সহপাঠী রান্নার দায়িত্ব নিয়েছিল। একটি অস্থায়ী চুলা তৈরি করতে সোহেল এবং আমি একটি ছোট গর্ত খুঁড়েছিলাম। রানা ও কামালকে আমরা সাহায্য করা শুরু করেছিলাম। আমার কিছু বন্ধু নিকটস্থ উৎস থেকে পানি এনেছিল। অন্যরা পেঁয়াজ, রসুন এবং অন্যান্য মশলা তৈরিতে সাহায্য করেছিল। প্রায় ১:৩০ মিনিটে খাবার প্রস্তুত হয়েছিল। প্রত্যেকে খুব ক্ষুধার্ত ছিল। তাই আমি প্রস্তুতকৃত খাবার পরিবেশন করা শুরু করলাম। পোলাও, রোস্ট, গরুর মাংস, সালাদ প্রভৃতি ছিল। আমরা ভোজ শেষ করলাম এবং প্রায় আধা ঘণ্টার জন্য বিশ্রাম নিলাম। আমাদের একজন বন্ধু জীবনানন্দ দাশের একটি কবিতা আবৃত্তি করেছিল। রিপন একজন পেটুকের ওপর একটি কৌতুক উপস্থাপন করেছিল। সুমন যে কিনা একজন ভালো গায়ক সে নজরুলের দুটি গান গেয়েছিল। চা খেয়ে আমরা পাঁচটায় বাড়ির উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা দিলাম। আমরা বনভোজন খুব উপভোগ করেছিলাম এবং এটি সত্যিই আমার জন্য একটি স্মরণীয় দিন ছিল।
