FRIENDSHIP | Paragraph for JSC, SSC and HSC

FRIENDSHIP

Friendship is human attachment between two persons not bounded by any relationship. It is rather bound by the bond of mutual love and affection. It is one of the greatest blessings of Allah for mankind. It adds to our joy in prosperity and helps relieve our miseries in adversity. Friendship is reciprocal. Friendship is developed between two like-minded people. Man is a social being and he cannot live alone in society. Without friends, life seems to be dull and meaningless. In order to share his joys and to get relief from his sorrows of mental agony, man makes friendship. A good friend is that kind person to whom we can open our heart. So, we should choose such friends as we can trust, friendship is assumed to be everlasting; But all friends are not true and sincere. Some make friendship to achieve their personal interests in the guise of friendship. They are called summer friends. A real friend is an asset. He who. is deprived of at least one good friend is deprived of something that cannot be replaced in any way. A real friend stands-by us in our misfortune and try his/her best to give us solace. A true friend always stretches his/her helping hand. A friend in need is a friend indeed. But summer friends will desert us as soon as their purpose is achieved. We should, therefore, be very careful and cautious about selecting friends. In making friendship, it should be kept in mind that a friend in need is a friend indeed.
