Environment Pollution

Environmental pollution refers to the pollution of natural conditions, land, air and water in which human beings, animals and plants live. There are various types of pollution in the environment. Air pollution, water pollution, sound pollution, arsenic pollution are some of them. Air is being polluted by the emission of harmful smoke. Mills and factories, vehicles with engines produce carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and many other poisonous gases. By inhaling this polluted air, people suffer from various diseases. Water is polluted very easily. Human waste and industrial waste are greatly responsible for water pollution. Farmers use pesticides and chemicals for producing crops. Floods and rain water wash these materials into ponds, rivers and other sources of water and by drinking this polluted water, people become sick. Again sound is polluted if it is above 70 decibel. Most of the vehicles use hydrolic horns which produce unbearable sound. Nowadays arsenic pollution is increasing alarmingly. If we don't take step to prevent these pollutions, our life on earth will be hellish (bviKxq). We should make everybody aware of the harmful effects of these pollutions. This is not all. Punishment should be given to those bad people who are directly involved with environmental pollution.

পরিবেশ দূষণ

পরিবেশ দূষণ বলতে বিভিন্ন প্রাকৃতিক অবস্থা, ভূমি, বায়ু এবং পানি যেখানে মানুষ, জীবজন্তু ও গাছপালা বসবাস করে এগুলোর দূষণকে বোঝায়। পরিবেশে বিভিন্ন ধরনের দূষণ আছে। বায়ু দূষণ, পানি দূষণ, শব্দ দূষণ, আর্সেনিক দূষণ এর মধ্যে কিছু দূষণ। ক্ষতিকর ধোয়া নির্গমনের মাধ্যমে বায়ু দূষিত হয়। কলকারখানা, যানবাহন, কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইড, কার্বন মনোক্সাইড এবং অন্যান্য বিষাক্ত গ্যাস উৎপাদন করে। এসব দূষিত বায়ু গ্রহণ করে লোকজন বিভিন্ন রোগে আক্রান্ত হচ্ছে। পানি খুব সহজেই দূষিত হচ্ছে। মনুষ্যবর্জ্য ও শিল্পবর্জ্য পানি দূষণের জন্য ব্যাপকভাবে দায়ী। কৃষকেরা ফসল উৎপাদনের জন্য জমিতে কীটনাশক ও রাসায়নিক পদার্থ ব্যবহার করে। বন্যা ও বৃষ্টির মাধ্যমে এ সকল পদার্থ পুকুর, নদী ও পানির অন্যান্য উৎসের সাথে মিশে যাচ্ছে এবং এই দূষিত পানি পান করে লোকজন অসুস্থ হচ্ছে। আবার ৭০ ডেসিবলের উপরে শব্দ দূষিত হয়। অধিকাংশ যানবাহনে হাইড্রোলিক বাঁশি থাকে যা অসহনীয় শব্দ সৃষ্টি করে। বর্তমানে আর্সেনিক দূষণ মারাত্বকভাবে বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। যদি আমরা এসব দূষণ রোধে পদক্ষেপ না নেই তাহলে পৃথিবীতে আমাদের জীবন নারকীয় হয়ে উঠবে। আমাদের উচিত সকলকে এসব দূষণের ক্ষতিকর দিক সম্পর্কে সচেতন করা। শুধু তাই নয়। যেসব মন্দ লোকেরা পরিবেশ দূষণের সাথে সরাসরি জড়িত তাদের শাস্তি দেওয়া উচিত।
