Write a composition on 'A Journey by Boat' you have recently made.
A journey by boat is an exciting experience. During the last autumn vacation, I made a journey by boat to the village home of a friend. We were four in number. I prepared for the journey.
I took some important things of my daily use. A date was fixed. We started early in the morning. It was a little misty. We passed a little bridge overhead.
The vehicles on the bridge looked small and soundless. Gradually the sun rose and the sunrays touched the trees and house-tops. The boat passed through cornfields on both sides of the river.
There were two boatmen. The weather was fair. There were boats of various shapes and sizes on the river. Sometimes we met launches and trawlers. We often saw people bathing in the river.
Village women were carrying water from the river in pitchers. We also saw children swimming and splashing water. At noon we stopped at a bazar and bought some bananas and a couple of hilsha fish. We had a simple lunch at a small hotel.
The evening was as enjoyable as the morning. At last, we reached our destination with a little tired and very hungry.
A JOURNEY BY BOAT
Ours is a land of rivers, lakes and canals. The villagers all over Bangladesh remain surrounded by water for several months. The people generally move from one place to another by boat.A journey by boat is an exciting experience. During the last autumn vacation, I made a journey by boat to the village home of a friend.
