An application for relief for the flood affected people

Suppose, you are Mahmud/Mahmuda of the village Rupnagar, Upazilla Sonapur, District Rangpur. Recently a flood has swept over your area. It has caused a great havoc. Many people are suffering from want of food, clothes, drinking water, medicine etc. They need immediate help from the government. Now, write an application to the Deputy Commissioner of your district for relief and medical aids for the flood affected people of your area.

Sub : Prayer for relief for the flood-affected people.

Sir,

With due respect and humble submission, on behalf of the inhabitants of the village Rupnagar under Sonapur Upazilla, I beg to draw your kind attention to the fact that the recent flood of 28-06-12 has washed away all crops, many houses and domestic animals. So thousands of people have become homeless and have taken shelter in the school buildings, on the roofs and on the WAPDA road.  Still the village is under water. The misery of the people knows no bounds. Many people cannot eat sufficient food because now they are penniless/empty-pocket. They are not getting pure drinking water and the treatment of dysentery, diarrhea, fever and so on/etc. So the flood-affected people are in great need of food, cloth, drinking water, medicine etc. They need help from the government to save many lives from unnecessary death and to remove their sufferings.

I, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to send sufficient relief materials and medical aids for the flood-affected people of our village.
