An application to sink a tube-well

Now, imagine you are Runa/Rani living in the village, named Ashrafpur, under No.10 Ashrafpur Union. The people of your village have been suffering for want of pure drinking water. Now, write an application to the chairman of your union council to sink at least three tube-wells in your village.

Sub : Prayer for sinking at least three tube-wells in our village.

Sir,

I, on behalf of the inhabitants of the village Asrafpur, beg to draw your kind attention to the fact that more than 4,500 people live our village, but there is only one tube-well in the last boundary of the village. It is about three kilometers away from the east side and one kilometer away from the middle of the village. So many people can not bring water going such a long distance. Moreover, it is always crowded and so most people have to spend hour after hour for their turns. Often many people have to return after waiting several hours. They fetch water from canals and suffer from water-borne diseases like dysentery, diarrhea, cholera, typhoid etc. So to speak the truth, a few poor people die every year without treatment. That’s why, we request you to take necessary steps for sinking/to sink at least three tube-wells in our village.

I, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to  sink at least three tube-wells in our village.
